The Sixth Sun is a new series by Coyote Studio and Abigail Roscoe that should be getting all the attention possible.
If you haven’t heard of it yet, that’s because the creator’s Facebook account has been restricted – and hers joins millions of legitimate creator profiles who have been throttled or demonetized by Meta during a supposed content crackdown.
The Sixth Sun showcases Aztec mythology in a modern setting – and adds trickster gods. Perfect.
Coyote Studio and Abigail have moved their main fan community elsewhere; the discussion continues on Discord where close-knit online communities are putting the ‘social’ part back into social media.
All the important links can be found at the Coyote Studio Linktree.
As its creator Abigail says, “The series is FREE. Sharing it is FREE. Leaving a comment is FREE. Telling a friend is FREE.”
And telling an algorithm to go fuck itself, I think, would be priceless.
The Sixth Sun can be found at its newly launched Kickstarter campaign. You can also connect with Coyote Studio and Abigail at their official website.
“Aztec Mythology meets modern stories as we navigate the chaos of modern life with the knowledge of things far older than us. Can humanity survive what is to come? A trickster god says….maybe, with hope.”

“The world is ending, but hope isn’t. Somewhere in Mexico City, a young musician finds himself caught between the chaos of the present and the whispers of something ancient. Forgotten gods stir, old stories bleed into new ones, and the lines between myth and reality blur.”
